Build software that restores nature.

At green account, we want every company in Europe to invest in local nature projects. To make that happen, we’re building tools that make biodiversity measurable and investment in nature scalable.

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (f/m/d) to join our 5-person tech team. You’ll build and evolve our web apps – from onboarding flows to spatial tools that support planners in the field. You’ll work with a high degree of autonomy, bring strong ownership, and help raise the bar for how we build software together. GIS is part of the stack, but you don’t need to be a mapping expert to thrive here.

We’re especially interested in people who enjoy taking responsibility, picking up unsolved problems, mentoring others, and helping a small team grow.

Your mission

Develop and own full-stack features in JavaScript for internal teams, customers, and environmental planners.
Build interactive map tools to explore, assess, and visualise nature sites.
Continuously improve onboarding flows for landowners and project developers.
Take end-to-end responsibility – from database design to deployment, CI/CD, and serverless infrastructure.
Collaborate directly with product and users, owning technical decisions in your domain.
Support teammates and contribute to a culture of ownership and feedback.

Your profile

Years of experience building applications with TypeScript and React, with a solid grasp of system design.
Comfortable with modern web stacks (e.g. Remix / react-router, ORMs, Mapbox, SQL/Postgres/PostGIS) or eager to learn them.
Proactive, pragmatic, and ownership-driven.
Curious about AI engineering and other tooling that improves quality and speed.
Enjoy being a go-to person and open to mentoring or leading a team as we grow.
German is a bonus, not a must.
